A workplace transformation was the task for our dealer partner DP Designs on a recent project when their client, a leading global TPA, moved offices.
The client had previously been operating in a cellularised environment in which working stations were more clearly defined and separated. Upon moving its 188-strong workforce to a new office, the client was keen to make some changes by breaking down its cell-like office structure and promoting wellbeing through a lighter, more collaborative environment.
With the client keen on the goalpost frame, DP Designs brought in 188 of our Bench desks with a white framework, complete with special screens featuring toolbars to allow monitor mounted monitor arms. The introduction of different colours and fabrics throughout the office helped create a much lighter feel, along with pockets of breakout spaces and pods.
The changes marked a real culture shift for the client. While staff had previously been used to working in their own specific spaces in a more traditional office style, this fresh approach heralds a new open-plan environment and encourages much more interaction, while colours and fabrics add a creative splash.
DP Designs reported that their client was “over the moon” with the result and excited to be moving on to a new chapter.
